Hi *,

cause there was no reaction to my post a few days ago on the users
list, I want to ask directly on the dev list.

Subject: [OpenWrt-Users] OpenWrt 15.05 and trunk for Ubnt UAP Pro broken

Hi,

I wanted to use OpenWrt on the Ubnt UAP Pro, but the first thing I was
wondering about, was that the sysupgrade is only a little bit smaller
in filesize then the factory image. 3866628 vs 3866972 byte, but the
device has 16 MB flash memory. After flashing OpenWrt 15.05 and trunk
the device got stucked during boot. Thanks to Ubnt's friendly costumer
support I got a special 16 MB file sized firmware image, to recover
the AP via tftp. To sad, that this image is not directly public
downloadable... (why do they even ?? ...)

Anyway, has anyone this device running with /normal/ OpenWrt? I would
like to hear from you, what I may have missed...

///

For now I can not do proper debugging, caused by no skills and no
tools available :/

If there is no solution at the moment, can some one recommend a
OpenWrt compatible device with 803af poe for indoor use and dual-band
(n + ac) capabilities? I have searched for about 3 days, and did not
find any satisfying hardware. Even only n + ac would be fine, but that
seams to be another part of the story that many supported devices are
no longer available on the market, like tl-wdr3***/4***.

Thanks for your help!
