Thanks for the update!
I have been using Linksys (w/o Openwrt) for a long time because its position v open source. When I decided to go open source on my wifi-"boxes" I did this minimal check (ie google) where Linksys WRT3200ACM came out on top or close to. Hence I decided to standardized on WRT3200ACM. Really hard to find what support are missing for a particular box. The Openwrt community ought to identify a few vital characteristics & state support for those per "box". Maybe I can help here. This summary could also help an eager user to select the "right" box. (Do you have insight into what is the "best" box today?)

One ought also make it visible for Linksys their closed source is a blocker for successful use of wpa3 on their boxes. Linksys used to be outspoken on their positition v open source. If you cannot get wpa3 going on certain Linksys boxes they ought not to be at top in (smallow) articles.

BR Björn
