[OpenWrt-Devel] opkg: installation order of dependencies seems broken

Hi,

I am having trouble with the OpenWRT build not respecting package dependencies
in determining the installation order. This typically messes up script or
config overwriting by adding a dependent package.

I opened an issue (https://github.com/openwrt/openwrt/issues/401) for this, but
would appreciate one of the maintainers confirming that the issue is indeed
undesired behavior.

I traced the cause back to what I consider a flaw in opkg, and opened a pull
request (https://github.com/openwrt/openwrt/pull/402).

Can someone please have a look at this and confirm if this indeed is undesired
behavior?

Thanks,
Pieter Smith
