OpenWrt main branch GPIO export problem

Hello All,

I am sending this message due to a problem I encountered on a GDSP (mediatek/filogic 5G router) device. In particular, after commit 0ca78951739a1e6e2f569438764381bd5fdb5190 ("kernel: use fwnode for GPIO export driver"), the 5G modem module is no longer available. Reverting the commit fixed my problem.
So I am wondering if I am missing some change I need to apply to the DTS or something else is wrong.
What would be the best course of action?
Any test on devices with similar setups would be greatly apreciated.

BTW, I encountered other stability issues ("strange behaviours") that I am not able to reproduce, and I am assuming not related at all with this.
