Is that the Realek RTL8251B ?  If-so that supports MACsec offload I 
think (i.e. wire speed AES encryption and decryption), which I'd find 
useful at least.

I think there's no mainline support for that feature yet unfortunately 
(and I don't know what docs or open implementations are available).
