You can use "generic", as this code is used by both: brcm47xx and
bcm53xx. Two tips:
1) target/linux/generic/PATCHES
2) http://wiki.openwrt.org/doc/devel/patches

Go and check. I gave you repo link, see what kernel is it based on.
