Thanks for adding the correct 21.02 label to the ticket, and focusing the title on the only supported tftp install method which is still is reported broken in this ticket.

Further investigations of bootlog shows that kernel arguments changed significantly between ar71xx to ath79 but maybe the .dts file partly replaced this?
