Dear all,
I have installed ChilliFire's Openwrt image onto my Linksys WRT54g. no
problems there. I have a network config question:
Current set-up is:
ADSL modem
|
|
PIX 501
10.50.50.0/24
----------------------------------------------
| | |

~ 10.50.50.200 10.50.50.n 10.50.50.n
~ LinksysWRT54G MyLaptop voip-telephone
~ | ChileSpot
~ | 192.168.12.1/24

~ | |
~ | DHCP-hosts/wifi (192.168.12.n)
~ |
~ |
ChileSpot-Admin/RJ45 (192.168.1.n/24)
I would like to make sure that all packets from 192.168.12.n cannot see
anything on the 10.50.50.0/24 network with the only exception of 10.50.50.1.
And if possible, I would like the 192.168.12.n/24 network to be able to
see everything on the network including 10.50.50.0/24
I think that I could add a route like:
route add default gw 10.50.50.1
route add net 10.50.50.0 127.0.0.1
Would this send all packets destined to 10.50.50.1 to the node
10.50.50.1 and all other packets to this device, and the second command
would send all other packets to 10.50.50.0 back to itself! Would this
loop? ^^ If so, if there the equiv of /dev/null or could I tell it to
drop the packets or send it to an inexistant address?
Ideas or have I got it the wrong way around?
Regards,S.
