There isn't any technical barrier to what you are wanting to do; the
question is whether what you ask is achievable through the X-Wrt
interface, in which case this is the wrong arena for the question -
see the X-Wrt forums.

Since you're doing this with one radio, what you're looking to do is
set that interface to 'Repeater' mode instead of 'AP', 'Managed', or
even 'Ad-Hoc'.  You probably also want the device's ethernet ports in
the same network; just set them all in the same VLAN and you should be
fine.
