[OpenWrt-Users] who can't i "make -j2"?

  has anyone succeeded in building an image using parallel make?

$ make -j2
make[3]: warning: jobserver unavailable: using -j1.  Add `+' to parent make rule.
...

  is this easily fixable or an inherent limitation in the build
infrastructure?  thanks.
