[OpenWrt-Users] has anyone had luck with squid?

I'm trying to get squid working on a WRT54GL using the latest relevant
Kamikaze build (2.4 kernel), but not having much luck.  From this forum

I take it that the squid package isn't currently working.  Is anyone aware
of a workaround, or have a sense of whether the error is likely to be fixed?
