I managed to connect a serial cable and get a bootlog and it is 
definitely a danube.
The bootlog is similar to the one here:

It's available as danube.txt under ventoso.org/luca/
(I don't put the full url since I don't want it to be picked up by the 
search engines).

What can I do with it? (considering that I cannot brick it and it has to 
be possible to go back to the original firmware)
