[OpenWrt-Users] what's up with trying to git clone from nbd.name?

It's been pretty clear for quite a few weeks that nbd.name hasn't been
resolving - his registrar disappeared and didn't leave any migration
path.  An alias has been set up, but I don't remember it off the top
of my head - it's somewhere in the forum.

I am absolutely not an expert on SCM differences, but unless you're
doing extensive local branching and pushing updates back upstream via
git, what benefit does it provide over the native SVN?
