[OpenWrt-Users] mac address

Hi,

I have two WL500GP devices, and surprisingly their wlan cards have the same 
mac address. I don't know how could it happen, but the bigger problem is that 
I cannot change its mac address. The only way which works for me is 
the 'ifconfig hw ether <address>' command, but the result is not stored (must 
be done after each reboot).The 'option macaddr' and similar settings does not 
work. Where this address is loaded from at startup? From the card? From 
flash?

I use the Kamikaze 7.09 and the original firmware on the other one. Once I 
swapped the wlan cards between them. Is it possible that something is 
overwritten then?
