Do you mean fw_Speedport_W701V_V33.04.26.image from t-home.de ?

If so, is some preparation  necessary?

Did you use eva/adam2 or the via the openwrt-installation, which mtd?

You are right. But the situation is worse, the newest svn-versions do not work 
anymore. (my last working checkout was: r8346 )
