[OpenWrt-Users] SSH- and TELNET-daemon running parallel ?!

Hi,
I'm wondering what would be the best way to have both dropbear and telnetd
running. By default telnetd is disabled (and dropbear enabled) after setting
a password for root (see "/etc/init.d/telnet" script), right?
I would like to have dropbear running with key-auth only (for external access
over the internet) and also telnetd as password-auth fallback for local (LAN)
access only.
Any ideas how to configure this without having to patch scripts
(like "/etc/init.d/telnet") that may be overwritten on updates? If not, we
may need some kind of configuration-switch "keep-telnetd-running = true",
right?
Greetings
Moritz
