BTW, i can't trivially de-select that library from the current build
since it's being "select"ed thusly:
Selected by: PACKAGE_icecast || PACKAGE_mpd && USB_SUPPORT &&
!NATIVE_TOOLCHAIN || PACKAGE_sox
maybe i'll just tweak the build to try to get the tarball that's
available: libvorbisidec-1.2.0-dave.tar.gz. but that one's almost
two years old and i have no idea whether it's still appropriate.
