Hi Robert,

The 12pin connector is the JTAG interface (JTAG can also be 14pins). See
http://wiki.openwrt.org/OpenWrtDocs/Customizing/Hardware/JTAG_Cable for
more information.

The 10pin connector is the dual Serial Port (at 3.3V). You will need a
converter to connect this type of serial port to your PC. Using a
MAX3232 IC, you will be able to get a working serial connection. For
more info see
http://wiki.openwrt.org/OpenWrtDocs/Customizing/Hardware/Serial_Console
or http://www.nslu2-linux.org/wiki/HowTo/AddASerialPort or
http://forum.openwrt.org/viewtopic.php?pid=7240 You will find lots of
people describing the way they connected the serial port to their PC.

Good luck,
Ivo van Geel.
