[OpenWrt-Users] Samba bridge

Hi all,
I'm looking to do a bit of an obscure task with openwrt but I hope
someone can at least tell me if it's possible.
In my college dorm room we have a network setup such that the routers
give out the ip's on the internal network and everyone has to auth via
a samba mount. This works fine for normal use but a problem arises
when you wish to use more than ~2 MAC's on the network, since the
banning script will disconnect the port if any user attempts to do so.
Hence when I'm fixing PC's it's getting quite tiresome not having net
access on them.
I wish to know that if I got myself a router such as a Linksys WRT54GS
(with RJ45 WAN port), could I let it login to the college network and
provide a bridge of network access to the LAN switch on the router.
Cheers
