ah, i thought that might be a fairly common boot-time option across
the gamut of openwrt's. this is whiterussian 0.9.

as i said, mostly, it's just a general question as to what that
boot-time option *means* when it has more than one FS type. i might
ask on the kernel newbies mailing list, unless someone here pipes up
first.

yeah, that whole graphical forums thing sometimes is just too
overkill when you have a simple question, and when you want to bounce
around between topics.
