Hmm, I'm curious, but if the firmware doesn't respond to breaks and 
you can't get console, how do you reflash it??

Netgear have a utility to recover 'corrupted' DG834G. Comes linked to 
some BPF raw-packet DLL. So I'm guessing the DG834Gv3 can still be 
flashed via some magic ethernet frames.

(sadly, I can't get the thing to run and produce frames in either 
Wine or the WinXP live cd I have)
