[OpenWrt-Users] AR7 status (wrt DG834Gv3 particularly, WAG354G too)

I already built a jtag connector. I downloaded all the flash content
BEFORE bricking the device, and restored it after the disaster, so now
the device is working perfectly.

I think that this d-link tool depend on the bootloader that your device uses.
If i remember correctly, the dg834v3 has a modified adam2 bootloader,
with the tftp and ftp support disabled, so you can't recover the
device via ftp/tftp, like you would with the original adam2 boot
loader.
