[OpenWrt-Users] AR7 status (wrt DG834Gv3 particularly, WAG354G too)

What's the status of the AR7 port, anyone know?

I have a Linksys WAG354G I don't care too much about (It's Annex-B),
and a Netgear DG834Gv3 (which I do care about - it's my DSL router ;)
).

I'd like to put OpenWRT on the DG834Gv3, as the stock firmware is
pretty poor. I thought I'd use the WAG354G to test firmware before
risking bricking my DG834G.

I havn't yet managed though to find a firmware image that boots on
the WAG354G. I've tried lots of different SVN revisions, I've tried
the pre7.06-ish AR7 snapshots that were on nbd's download site for a
while. They flash (can see it reboots), but hang somewhere (blinking
lights - suspect it must be past firmware, cause it doesnt accept
TFTP without a power cycle).

So my question...

Is this a fair indicator of the state of AR7, or is the WAG354G
sufficiently different from DG834Gv3 that it's still worth trying?

Thanks in advance..

regards,
