hello list,
after i got an ASUS WL500GP with kamikaze 7.06 i was reading
that it has "PPPoE" problems , so i had the choice to use 7.07 or
go back to "white russian" i choose "white russian , because i am not
that "command line experienced and kamikaze has no Webinterface.
After i build the package my router frooze at " reboot"
I waited about 15 minutes but nothing happent.
So since then he is dead, no ping , no telnet , no ssh.
I heard that after a bad flash the "nvram" choose a random ip
thats the reason why i had no luck with the recovery tools from the
original CD , but i think thats only working with ASUS firmware ?
right ?
Is there anything else i could do ? this seems to be there is only
one last choice
the "pin9" method , but pretty dangerous ? Anybody who did that
successfully?

thanks for any advice or pointers
cheers
Marc

They said it couldn't be done but sometimes it
doesn't work out that way.
