 This problem persists at least as far as the 2.6.25-4 kernels. The crude
 workaround of detecting an attempt to use PHY address 5 and using 30
 instead still works, but I suspect it is wrong. It probably initializes
 one phy twice and skips the other. It works, but it is wrong.
