 Following a hack I saw on a group posting somewhere, I hacked in the value
 that the router was seen to be returning (0xFE) as the value of
 ROBO_PHY_ADDR in switch-robo.c.

 The machine appears to boot correctly.  The eth0 interface is detected,
 and the correct MAC address is assigned to it.  All boot-time scripts run
 normally as reported in the logs.

 But no traffic passes over the interfaces.  After bootup (configured to
 run DHCP on the WAN port) it shows RX traffic on eth0.1, and TX traffic on
 br-lan, but no testing so far has resulted in any actual traffic that I
 can tell.
