#3717: sysupgrade gives ominous warnings on brcm

After making the change in #3716, and running sysupgrade on an Asus WL500g
Deluxe, this is the output I got:
{{{
root at OpenWrt:~# /sbin/sysupgrade /tmp/openwrt-brcm-2.4-squashfs.trx
Saving config files...
Switching to ramdisk...
mount: mounting mini_fo:/jffs on /mnt failed: Function not implemented
Performing system upgrade...
ash: awk: not found
ash: cannot create : nonexistent directory

Could not open mtd device: rootfs
Unlocking rootfs_data ...
Erasing rootfs_data ...
Appending /tmp/sysupgrade.tgz to jffs2 partition rootfs_data
root at OpenWrt:~# Connection to 192.168.1.1 closed by remote host.
Connection to 192.168.1.1 closed.
}}}
The warnings about being unable to open mtd partitions, functions not
implemented, awk not found, cannot create etc. are rather worrying - they
imply that the upgrade has gone horribly wrong.
In fact, it ''did'' reflash the device correctly, and appears to have
restored changed files from /etc/config/*.
