after I will have phased out kernel 4.14 this week, the cns3xxx target will be the last one remaining that does not support kernel 5.4.

Therefore, considering the list of reasons given by Koen below, I am planning to remove it as well rather quickly (let's say in two weeks).

Again, if somebody is interested in picking this up, please just tell me. You don't have to finish it in two weeks, it's enough to just state that you have (substantial) plans to go on with it.

(For kernel 4.19 in general, I think it might be handy to keep it around until 20.xx.0-rc1 or rc2, so we can do at least some regression testing if required.)
