Hi,

You have to backport the upstream changes to the netlink handling in
batman-adv into our batman-adv version:
https://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/torvalds/linux.git/diff/net/batman-adv/netlink.c?id=3b0f31f2b8c9fb348e4530b88f6b64f9621f83d6

The backports system will take care of making this also work with older
kernel versions down to kernel version 3.10.
