1. The forum is used.
2. It depends on make, model and OpenWrt version.
3. Feel free to make a post on the community forum to discuss the question.

On this page the OpenWrt mailing lists are listed:
https://lists.openwrt.org/mailman/listinfo

There it also says "If you are having trouble using the lists, please contact
mailman at lists.openwrt.org ".

But mail sent to mailman at lists.openwrt.org bounces:
"

My questions:
-------------

1) Is there no mailing list for OpenWrt users (not developers)?

2) Does OpenWrt always use VLAN, maybe internally?

3) I need to operate a router ("MikroTik hAP ac2" with OpenWrt)
in bare-basic mode w/o NAT and also w/o any firewall,
and also w/o any VLAN, bridge, switch etc.
I just want to have the Ethernet ports, and configure them myself
(IPs, Masks, gateways, routing etc.).
Is this not possible in OpenWrt? I've not been able to get it working.
Where can I discuss this question to find a solution?

Thx
