A new Flyspray task has been opened. Details are below.
User who did this - K900 (K900)
Attached to Project - OpenWrt/LEDE Project
Summary - Massive throughput regression with fw4 + offloading + QoS
Task Type - Bug Report
Category - Base system
Status - Unconfirmed
Assigned To -
Operating System - All
Severity - Low
Priority - Very Low
Reported Version - Trunk
Due in Version - Undecided
Due Date - Undecided
Details - Running an Archer C6 v2 with OpenWrt SNAPSHOT r18621-af8a059bb4, enabling SQM with piece_of_cake.qos or qosify with default setting drops LAN to WAN throughput from 700+mbps down to 100-150 mbps. This means you're forced to choose between QoS and bandwidth, which is not a great choice to make. It's very possible that it has never worked _entirely correctly_ with fw3, but some prioritization was still visibly happening. I'm not familiar enough with the guts of the network stack to see an obvious solution, so I'm hoping someone else can help here.
