I'm having a similar issue with Archer C6 v3 (mt7621).

I've already found the root cause, see here here: https://bugs.openwrt.org/index.php?do=details&task_id=4158

At least in my case the issue is related to "HighMem" being detected when it does not exist. This device has 128MiB of RAM, but the boot is incorrectly identifing a HighMem memory that does not exist.
