A new Flyspray task has been opened. Details are below.

User who did this - Rodney Hester (rhester72)

Attached to Project - OpenWrt/LEDE Project
Summary - service function in shinit fails if service name contains a dash
Task Type - Bug Report
Category - Base system
Status - Unconfirmed
Assigned To -
Operating System - All
Severity - Very Low
Priority - Very Low
Reported Version - openwrt-21.02
Due in Version - Undecided
Due Date - Undecided
Details - On OpenWRT 21.02, a change was made recently to use uniq to handle multi-process services.

While reviewing it, I discovered that service names containing a dash throw the following error from jsonfilter (visible if you remove the -q argument in the function):

Syntax error: Invalid escape sequence
In expression @.dnscrypt-proxy.instances[*].running
Near here --------------^

which results in the service being indicated as not running.
