THIS IS AN AUTOMATED MESSAGE, DO NOT REPLY.

A new Flyspray task has been opened. Details are below.

User who did this - Piotr Henryk Dąbrowski (phd)

Summary - opkg_download_pkg: Package luci is not available from any configured src.
Task Type - Bug Report
Category - Base system
Status - Unconfirmed
Assigned To -
Operating System - All
Severity - Low
Priority - Very Low
Reported Version - openwrt-19.07
Due in Version - Undecided
Due Date - Undecided
Details - Software versions: openwrt-19.07.7-brcm63xx-generic-HG553-squashfs-cfe.bin
Device: [[https://openwrt.org/toh/huawei/hg553|Huawei EchoLife HG553]]

I flashed OpenWrt from vertion 18.06 to 19.07.7 while keeping the configuration.
LuCI stopped working.
When I tried to reinstall it, I saw this message:

# opkg install luci

Collected errors:
 * opkg_download_pkg: Package luci is not available from any configured src.
 * opkg_install_pkg: Failed to download luci. Perhaps you need to run 'opkg update'?
 * opkg_install_cmd: Cannot install package luci.

After flashing to 19.07.7 with clean configuration the problem was gone.

But it is still easily reproducible with:

# opkg update
# opkg install --force-reinstall luci

Removing package luci from root...
[...]
Collected errors:
 * opkg_download_pkg: Package luci is not available from any configured src.
 * opkg_install_pkg: Failed to download luci. Perhaps you need to run 'opkg update'?
 * opkg_install_cmd: Cannot install package luci.

and luci package stays broken after this (which should not happen).
