I don't really see an issue here. IPv6 is requested by default for PPP links and can be disabled in /etc/config/network:


config interface 'wan'
	option ifname 'eth0.1'
	option proto 'pppoe'
	option username 'username'
	option password 'password'
	option ipv6 '0'
