Details - I was having issues to connect with the 2 GHz interfaces with a Intel 8265. The SSID is hardly seen by the client. I reported a bugs some time ago into iwlwifi module but today I have seen this:

I think It could be related. I will need to test with ar71xx flashed to see if the problem dissapears but It seems very similar and also the affected interfaces are Atheros ones.
