I guess ubiquiti has a similar to the following circuitry  [[https://forum.mikrotik.com/viewtopic.php?t=124781|discussed on this thread]] build-in their devices:

//Add a photocoupler, like 4N35, and a resistor. Connected near the reset button to command it remotely with two wire by a voltage, for example the power voltage.//
